Circularity is changing how textiles are designed, made, sold, used and recovered. Brands and manufacturers increasingly need to work with material innovators, regenerative fibre producers, technology companies, repair and resale platforms, logistics providers, collectors and recyclers.
Fabric of Value brings together relevant information, market intelligence, expert conversations and industry relationships for the people building, financing and adopting this new system.
Built on experience across all three perspectives - the startup developing a solution, the investor financing its growth and the company integrating it into commercial reality - F/V identifies which innovations matter, what they need to scale and how circular and regenerative models can create more competitive and resilient value chains.
Fabric of Value combines editorial, market intelligence, conversations and a trusted network. Each part addresses a different gap between promising innovation and industry-wide adoption.

F/V Brief follows the companies, technologies, investments and market shifts changing how textiles are made, used and recovered.
The purpose is not to cover every announcement. It is to identify what deserves attention, examine what is still missing and explain what a development could change for founders, investors and industry.
It is the editorial front door to Fabric of Value - published on Substack and free to start.
F/V Intelligence provides access to a unique and continuously expanding database for circular economy and textile innovation.
It maps circular economy startups and brings together relevant sources of capital and support: business angels, family offices, venture funds, industry initiatives and organizations worth knowing when navigating innovation or building regenerative businesses in the textile industry.
The database is designed to answer practical questions for actors in the field:
Which solutions already exist? Who is active in a particular part of the value chain? Which investors understand the space? Which organizations can help move an idea from exploration to implementation?
Available to F/V Intelligence and F/V Circle members.
Press releases show the announcement. They rarely show what it took to get there.
The F/V Podcast brings together founders, investors and industry leaders for honest conversations about adoption, manufacturing, financing and scale.
What convinced the first customer? What went wrong between pilot and production? Why did an investor say yes, or no? What does an established company need before it can adopt a new solution?
The full conversations are free to listen to. Some of the most useful knowledge never appears in a press release. Summaries and reviews of these conversation are part of F/V Brief.
F/V Circle brings together the three groups that determine whether circular innovation moves forward: the founders building new solutions, the investors financing their growth and the industry leaders responsible for adoption. This private, curated community offers a trusted place to exchange insight, make useful connections and build new partnerships.
Members join a curated international network spanning the textile value chain. It is a trusted environment for sharing relevant insights and opportunities, finding expertise, meeting potential partner, investor and investments as well as developing the relationships needed to move from an introduction to real collaboration.
Membership is designed for people who are actively building, financing or implementing circular and regenerative solutions in fashion and textiles.

I have built, scaled and exited four companies along the textile value chain. I have built a nonprofit initiative for the circular economy. I invest in companies and work alongside founders to turn promising technologies into businesses that customers will buy from and factories can deliver.
Having sat on different sides of the table changes the questions I ask.
I am less interested in what sounds promising than in what has to happen for it to work. Circular businesses rarely scale within the boundaries of an existing industry. Companies that were once separated by industries or stages of the value chain now have to build something together.
To understand whether a circular business can scale, you have to understand these new relationships: who needs to work with whom, what each party requires and where the incentives do—or do not—align.
That is why my work evolved from building one company to building ecosystems in which many companies can succeed.
That realization changed the direction of my work. I moved from building one company to building the ecosystems in which many companies can succeed.
Fabric of Value is one way of doing that.

Moving from pilot to scale.
Trying to distinguish an exciting technology from a viable company.
Building the infrastructure end to end.
Looking for solutions that customers will value.
And for the people who believe that rebuilding fashion and textiles is not a communications exercise, but an industrial and entrepreneurial one.
F/V Circle is for founders, investors and industry leaders actively working on circular and regenerative innovation in fashion and textiles.
The value is real access to a trusted network and the ability to activate that network. That might mean finding the right investor, meeting a potential industry partner, understanding who controls a particular decision or learning from someone who has already faced the same challenge.
F/V Intelligence helps identify who matters. F/V Circle helps turn that information into trusted relationships.
Yes. Warm introductions to relevant investors are a core part of our concierge service.
The network includes the entire ecosystem of CAWA Ventures: business angels, family offices and venture funds investing across circular economy, regenerative business, textile innovation and related technologies.
Introductions are made personally and with context. They are always double opt-in and based on genuine fit. We do not circulate companies indiscriminately or promise a particular investment outcome.
The Circle includes founders, investors and decision makers from established companies across Europe, the United States and Asia. We protect the privacy of our members and do not publish a complete directory. If you are considering membership, we are happy to share more about the composition of the network in a personal conversation.
